ATTENTION: WF ALUMNI, SIBLINGS, PARENTS, AND FRIENDS! A special project is underway in anticipation of Diane Slocum’s ordination. We would like everyone who has been touched by Diane’s youth ministry to provide an 8″ square of fabric that is uniquely YOU! It could be cut from a favorite shirt or paint-smeared jeans from a past mission trip. It might feature a symbol from Youth Sunday the year you were confirmed–or express your passion for art, music, or sports. Or–if Diane has given you wings to fly–choose something that represents where you’ve “landed,” whether it be Princeton Seminary, U of I, the Beijing Olympics, or the mountains of Colorado! Feel free to personalize it with embroidery, fabric paint, or a bead or two. Woven fabric (not knit) is preferred.

There will be a collection box in the church office through October 1 to receive your swatches. Please use the fabric pen provided to sign your name across the center of the backside of the fabric. Fabric can also be mailed to:

WF (Westminster Fellowship) is the Senior High youth group at the First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, Illinois. Yearly activities include a summer mission trip, fall and winter retreats, weekly youth group, Bible studies, Confirmation, and Youth Sunday.
